March 27, 2010, at Okinawa Convention Center Area, Ginowan City

On March 27th, Casio Entertainment organized the symposium "Behind-the-scenes of movie making revealed by top creators" at the second Okinawa International Movie Festival (March 22-28, Okinawa International Movie Festival Committee). Five movie creators from Japan and Hollywood participated as panelists to share their stories of CG production in Hollywood and behind-the-scenes of major works they have been involved in, as well as their knowledge of cutting-edge technology like 3D. People aspiring to join the movie industry filled the audience.

Later in the session, Japan’s comedian duo HANNYA joined to stir the discussion with straightforward questions. All panelists expressed their hopes for a healthy growth of the film industry, mentioning in one way or another that with the continued technological advancement in the movie industry, interaction surpassing race and nationality will become more active and that more opportunities will become available.
